Office Hours
The Building Direction for Families office hours are:
8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday or by appointment.
If hours change due to meetings and obligations away from
the office, we try to put an announcement under "What's New?" or on the answering
machine.

News and research on childhood obesity
As reported on National Public Radio, Morning Edition, on April 4, 2007: In the last 40 years, obesity rates in school-age children have more than quadrupled costing an estimated $14 billion per year in health-related care.
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation announced on April 4, 2007 they are committing $500 million dollars over the next five years to help reverse the childhood obesity trend in America.

The National Institute for Early Education Research website has posted a recent report from the Society for Research in Child Development that presents a comprehensive review of the childhood obesity epidemic.
